Jamie Kay, Ph.D.

Jamie Kay, Ph.D., is a New York State-licensed clinical psychologist. She obtained her doctorate in Clinical Psychology from The Derner Institute at Adelphi University and her B.A. from Emerson College.

Dr. Kay has extensive experience providing individual and family therapy, specializing in the area of learning disabilities and ADHD. She has held positions at mental health clinics and hospital outpatient centers throughout the greater metropolitan area for more than twenty years, while maintaining a thriving private practice. Dr. Kay developed a series of groups and workshops for parents at the 92nd Street Y Parenting Center on the Upper East Side.

In 2004, Dr. Kay founded Learning Solutions NYC, a unique consulting practice devoted to working with parents of children with ADHD and special learning needs. From 2007 through 2015, Dr. Kay was the director of the highly respected Center for Attention and Learning (CAL) at Lenox Hill Hospital, a program exclusively devoted to the evaluation of children with learning and attention issues. During her tenure at CAL, she successfully obtained six consecutive grants from The Robin Hood Foundation, the largest and most prestigious charitable organization in New York City.

Dr. Kay thoroughly and carefully considers the specific needs of each parent and family she works with, approaching her work with warmth and compassion. She is extremely devoted to helping parents navigate the challenging demands of raising a child with special learning and attention issues. Her expertise, personable manner, and knowledge ensure the kind of care and guidance all parents and children deserve.
