Erica Mantell, Psy.D.
Erica Mantell, PsyD is a licensed clinical psychologist. She obtained her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, FL and her B.S. in Psychology from the University of Florida.
Dr. Mantell has experience providing individual, family, and couples therapy for clients with a wide array of diagnoses. She is intensively trained in Dialectical Behavior Therapy and specializes in the treatment of adolescents and adults with Borderline Personality Disorder. In addition, Dr. Mantell has training and expertise in treating survivors of trauma, mood and anxiety disorders, behavioral disorders, dissociative disorders, and the full spectrum personality disorders and interpersonal difficulties. Dr. Mantell’s approach to treatment is collaborative and integrative and is influenced by a variety empirically supported approaches and specifically tailored to meet the needs of each of her clients.
Dr. Mantell completed her Internship and Postdoctoral training at Chrysalis Health, a community mental health agency, where she provided psychotherapy to children, adolescents, adults, and their families and worked closely with the Department of Children and Families. Dr. Mantell has extensive experience conducting psychological, psychoeducational, and psychosexual evaluations with children, adolescents, and adults. In addition, Dr. Mantell co-developed a group therapy curriculum for child and adolescent survivors of sexual abuse and provided clinic-wide trainings on Mindfulness-Based interventions.
