Ali Khanmohamadi, M.D.

Dr. Khan, as he is known professionally, received his bachelor’s degree from Princeton University in 1997, majoring in English literature. He received his M.D. degree from Rutgers University Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in Piscataway, NJ. He completed a residency in General Psychiatry at Beth Israel Medical Center in New York, NY, as well as a Geriatric Psychiatry Fellowship at Beth Israel post-residency. He is board-certified in Psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.

Dr. Khan has a diversity of professional experience, having worked as an Attending Psychiatrist in the inpatient, outpatient, and emergency room settings. He worked as a full time Attending in one of the busiest psychiatric emergency rooms in the country at Bellevue Hospital Center in New York NY. He has held the title of Clinical Instructor in the Department of Psychiatry at NYU School of Medicine. Most recently he has been an inpatient attending psychiatrist at North Shore University Hospital in Manhasset, NY. During his career Dr. Khan has provided supervision to psychiatric residents, clinical psychology interns and externs, and medical students.

Dr. Khan has an interest in General Adult Psychiatry as well as Geriatric Psychiatry. He brings a well-rounded and humane approach to the practice of psychiatry, and is happy to work with exceptional colleagues at Manhattan Mind Health and Wellness who do the same.
